Java and Spring backend engineer who grew into owning delivery, infrastructure and product for regulated platforms. Internet banking for 583,000 customers, a national microfinance regulator, a HIPAA remote-monitoring MVP that raised its round.

Internet banking for a state-owned bank

Four habits, learned the expensive way.
Ownership over scope
If the bank's servers are down and the deployment is mine, I am at the bank. Titles describe the job; the gap between teams is also the job.
Tests first, then code
Payment flows and prescriptions do not get a second chance. I write the failing test, make it pass, and keep the suite fast enough that nobody skips it.
Boundaries the next engineer can trust
Hexagonal services, configuration over code, one seam for every external system. A regulator's rules change; the core should not.
Say the uncomfortable thing early
A slipped date, a wrong assumption in a market model, a security gap. I report it the day I find it, with what I will do about it.
